Physical Education

Welcome to Physical Education

Saint Isabella School strongly believes that healthy bodies lead to healthy minds. Students enjoy Physical Education twice a week and it’s a time for them to learn new games and skills, to work as both individuals or as a team, and get outside and enjoy the sunshine! They return to their studies refreshed in both body and soul and ready to learn.

As students move through the grade levels, they are expected to learn to use equipment safely, learn the rules of games, analyze their performance, assess their personal fitness, increase their knowledge of fitness concepts, set fitness goals, work cooperatively to achieve a common goal, meet challenges, develop their skills, hone techniques and strategies, and accept personal differences.

PE provides a time for students to showcase their own talents and abilities. Through a variety of sports and games, students find a place to shine both physically and intellectually.
