Students

Our students are encouraged to become lifelong learners through our rigorous and interactive academic program. Listening, speaking, reading and writing are the four essential skills that comprise basic language competency and are the main tenets of English Language Arts. Good readers become good learners and we strive to foster a love of reading in all of our students. Use of the Accelerated Reader program tests reading comprehension with over 100,000 online book quizzes, and our library has a wonderful selection of grade appropriate books curated by our dedicated librarian. All of our students are taught math to Common Core State Standards. Technology is ever more important in our modern society and good internet citizenship is a primary focus in our Beyond Technology Education program. The arts are well represented with weekly classes in Spanish, Art and Music and good sportsmanship and exercise are emphasized with our biweekly Physical Education classes.

Faculty

Our hard-working faculty includes specialists in Science, Math, Spanish, Technology, Music, and Physical Education in addition to our Homeroom teachers and their aides. A dedicated learning resource teacher and a school counselor support student academic and personal growth

Parents

Parent-school communication is key to a successful school experience for your family. Saint Isabella School parents have 24-hour access to their children’s assignments and grades through our student information system, SchoolSpeak. Through SchoolSpeak, parents and students have access to real-time grades, attendance, comments, assignments, scores and more. Participation in our community building events creates an even deeper bond between families that extends beyond the school day and may develop into treasured lifelong friendships.
